Let's start at the beginning. The definition of sustainable business says "Sustainable business is a type of company that at the heart of its business model combines the objective of generating economic return and, at the same time, with the same importance, positive impact on the environment and society".

All this is regulated in Spain and in the rest of the world with, among others, the ISO 14001 environmental regulation: ISO's international standard to help companies to implement an Environmental Management System effectively and, thus, limit the environmental impact of the business.

- IS0 14001 Environmental Compliance
The implementation of an Environmental Management System in accordance with the UNE-EN ISO 14001 standard offers the possibility of systematizing, in a simple way, the environmental aspects generated in each of the activities carried out in the organization, in addition to promoting environmental protection and pollution prevention from a point of view of balance with the socio-economic aspects.
- Compliance with ISO 14006 Ecodesign standards
The Ecodesign certificate demonstrates that the organization has adopted a management system to identify, control and continuously improve the environmental aspects of its products and/or services, providing information to its customers on products that have incorporated environmental improvements through design, in accordance with the UNE-EN ISO 14006 standard.
- PEFC Certification
The PEFC chain-of-custody certification of our wood suppliers provides a verified and independent guarantee that products with the PEFC label contain certified forest material from sustainably managed forests.
- FSC certification
Individuals or organizations interested in the sustainable consumption of wood, paper, and other forest products can obtain FSC certification of their products. It is also used to demonstrate sustainable forest management. It also defines the best practice for the supply chain of a forest-based product, from the tree to the mill to the consumer.
- Use of recyclable steel in our production
Steel is a 100% recyclable material. This saves raw materials and resources in its manufacture. Thus, for every ton of steel that is recycled, one and a half tons of iron ore, 85% of water, 80% of energy and 95% of coal are saved, according to a report by Unesid (the Union of Iron and Steel Companies).
- Use of renewable energies such as Photovoltaic Solar Self-Consumption
In addition to being an effective solution to reduce the high energy costs of our company, it helps us significantly to reduce CO2 emissions into the atmosphere.
- We are also members of the SCRAP (Collective System of Extended Producer Responsibility) ENVALORA for commercial packaging.
